Trainee Engineer: Application

Location: Coimbatore, India

Key responsibilities

· Technical analysis: Analyse customer specifications and requirements to develop optimized and economically viable valve solutions.

· Proposal development: Assist the sales team in creating technical proposals and commercial offers by providing pricing and cost details and ensuring they meet client specifications.

·Valve sizing and selection: Perform control valve sizing and selection for various applications using software and technical knowledge.

·Cross-functional collaboration: Work with internal departments such as sales, design, manufacturing, and sourcing to ensure technical and commercial requirements are met.

·Technical documentation: Prepare and maintain technical specification sheets, requirement documents, and other technical documentation.

·Continuous learning: Develop expertise in different industry applications and stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and new technologies.

Required skills and qualifications

·Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or a related engineering field.

·Software skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

·Commercial awareness: A strong commercial focus, including an understanding of pricing, costing, and business objectives.

·Soft skills: Excellent communication (both written and verbal), teamwork, problem-solving, and time management skills.
