Trainee Chemical Engineer

Key Responsibilities Project Execution

• Plan, execute, and monitor wet scrubber projects from engineering to commissioning
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams
• Ensure project milestones, schedules, and budgets are met

Process & Chemical Engineering

• Design and review process parameters for wet scrubbers (pH, flow rate, L/G ratio, pressure drop)
• Select suitable scrubbing media, chemicals, and materials of construction
• Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and mass balance calculations
• Analyze flue gas composition and recommend appropriate scrubbing solutions

Technical Documentation

• Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and BOQs
• Review vendor drawings, GA drawings, and equipment specifications
• Maintain project documentation, test reports, and manuals

Installation & Commissioning

• Supervise erection, installation, and commissioning of wet scrubber systems
• Conduct performance testing and troubleshooting during startup
• Optimize system performance to meet emission standards

Client & Compliance

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure compliance with CPCB/SPCB and applicable environmental norms
• Attend technical meetings, inspections, and audits

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
