Job Description

To embark on a foundational journey within the broking channel at Care Health Insurance. This Trainee role is designed to provide hands-on experience in assisting with broker relationship management and supporting the generation of health insurance business, all under the guidance of experienced professionals. The successful candidate will develop key skills in channel sales, product knowledge, and client coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Broker Support & Assistance:

  • Assist in managing and nurturing relationships with assigned insurance brokers, learning the nuances of broker engagement.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the broking team in their day-to-day interactions with brokers.

Business Generation Support:

  • Support efforts to generate new health insurance business through the broker channel, learning about lead conversion and sales processes.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and presentations for brokers and their clients.

Product & Process Learning:

  • Actively learn about Care Health Insurance products, policy features, benefits, and sales processes relevant to the broking channel.
  • Understand the flow of business from brokers, including documentation, underwriting requirements, and policy issuance.

Operational Coordination:

  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., operations, underwriting) to ensure smooth processing of broker-generated business and resolution of queries.
  • Assist in handling basic broker inquiries and providing timely information.

Compliance & Market Understanding:

  • Learn and adhere to all internal company policies and IRDAI regulations pertinent to the broking business.
  • Gain an understanding of the competitive landscape and market dynamics within the health insurance broking sector.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail.
  • Basic understanding of sales concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
