Traffic Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in traffic engineering, focusing on the design, analysis, and implementation of traffic systems that improve safety and efficiency on roadways.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement traffic management strategies to improve road safety and efficiency.
• Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform transportation planning.
• Collaborate with urban planners and local authorities to develop sustainable transportation solutions.
• Evaluate the performance of existing traffic systems and recommend improvements.
• Prepare and present reports on traffic conditions and proposed changes.
• Monitor and assess the impact of traffic regulation measures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning.
• Proficiency in traffic simulation and modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, Synchro, HCS).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards in India.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
