As a Traffic Engineer at Stantec, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise in traffic engineering and transport modeling for international projects from our Pune office. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing signing/marking and signal plans using AutoCAD/MicroStation software programs. - Analyze large-scale traffic datasets to support transport modeling and traffic engineering studies. - Contribute to transport modeling and traffic engineering reports such as TIA and Parking studies. - Plan, program, and coordinate your workload to ensure timely delivery of outputs within budget and specified quality standards. - Manage or assist in projects involving the development, review, and presentation of plans and policies for clients. - Provide support to project managers and senior technical personnel during meetings with team members and clients. - Uphold Stantec Core Values and comply with Quality, Safety & Environment Systems and Project Quality Procedures. - Proficiency in at least two software packages among AutoCAD/MicroStation, VISSIM, SIDRA, and Synchro. - Experience on international projects would be considered advantageous. Qualification Required: - Proficiency in software packages such as AIMSUN, VISSIM, VISUM, SIDRA, LINSIG, AutoTurn/Vehicle Tracking, and Microsoft Excel. - A Bachelors degree in an appropriate discipline, with a Masters degree being preferable. - Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in the consulting and engineering industry post-graduate education.
