Trade and Transaction Operator, NCT

Role Overview: As a Trade and Transaction Operator at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, India, your primary role is to ensure the continued delivery of a robust and stable operating environment to support the Global Trade Services (GTS). You will contribute to the overall operational strategy of the GTS function, focusing on improving service delivery, productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency while minimizing operational risk through the effective implementation of controls. This role requires a demonstrated commitment to continuous process improvement and good people management skills. You will work as part of the Trading assistants team, interacting closely with the Trading Desk, Risk and PnL teams, Docs/Setts to ensure all trades are captured accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Perform Sales Support functions such as booking, consenting, and confirming trades in external and internal platforms on a T0 basis. - Follow up with Traders, Sales, Brokers, and Clients to ensure timely confirmation and capture of trades in the risk system. - Liaise with Client/Front Office/Docs/Settlements to resolve exceptions promptly. - Monitor the Front of Office system to ensure accurate capture and confirmation of Sales Led Trades. - Resolve inter-company breaks/system reconciliations to safeguard traders" risks. - Support Sales desk throughout the derivatives trade lifecycle. - Collaborate with T+1 P&L teams to address accounting differences from T0 P&L reporting. - Understand F2B system/process flow, streamline processes for efficiencies. - Handle ad hoc requests and projects for the Sales desk. - Monitor and escalate any potential Trade Capture issues that could lead to regulatory escalations. - Demonstrate strong knowledge of OTC derivatives trade life cycle, particularly on Rates Derivative products. - Review exceptions raised by the team/supervisor and ensure adherence to STARC standards and procedures. - Distribute work, assign responsibilities, provide necessary training, and ensure EOD controls are in place. - Proactively approach all activities to set an example for the team. - Develop knowledge across the team to provide support/assistance to other teams. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5-7 years experience in derivatives or related products. - Strong knowledge of derivative products like CDS & Interest Rates. - Understanding of trade life cycle and regulatory changes in derivatives products. - Ability to independently resolve complex breaks and guide the team. - Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Capability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively, work in shifts supporting US/UK business hours, and lead teams across time zones. - Self-starter with the ability to see tasks through to completion.
