Trade and Transaction Operator, NCT

The Trade and Transaction Operator, NCT role based in Bangalore, India, focuses on maintaining a robust and stable operating environment to support the Global Trade Services (GTS). As a part of the Trading assistants team, your responsibilities include contributing to the operational strategy of GTS, enhancing service delivery and productivity, and minimizing operational risks through effective controls. Key responsibilities involve sales support functions such as booking, consenting, and confirming trades on a T0 basis, liaising with traders, sales, brokers, and clients to ensure trade confirmations, resolving exceptions, monitoring front-office systems, and supporting the sales desk throughout the derivatives trade lifecycle. You will also be responsible for resolving inter-company breaks, collaborating with P&L teams, understanding trade life cycles, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in derivatives or related products, with a strong knowledge of derivative products like CDS & Interest Rates. Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and market initiatives, owning and resolving complex breaks independently, and demonstrating strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills are crucial. You should be prepared to work in shifts supporting US/UK business hours, lead teams across time zones, and exhibit a proactive approach in all activities.
