Tourist Sales Manager

Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Tourist Sales Manager to manage and grow our sales to international and domestic tourists. This role involves engaging walk-in customers in our showroom(s), providing expert product knowledge, building trust, and closing high-value sales. Candidates with a background in luxury retail, hospitality, or handicrafts are highly preferred. Key Responsibilities:Sales & Customer Engagement:Greet and engage tourists visiting the showroom in a warm and professional manner. Present product features, craftsmanship, and stories behind rugs to enhance their perceived value. Handle price negotiations and close sales with a focus on luxury customer service. Upsell and cross-sell other home decor items if applicable. Tourism & Network Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with tour guides, travel agents, hotels, and tourist facilitators to ensure consistent footfall. Coordinate with travel and hospitality partners for referrals and group visits. Ensure incentive programs for tourism partners are tracked and managed properly. Showroom Operations:Maintain visual merchandising standards that appeal to international tastes. Ensure proper documentation of sales, shipping, and customer follow-ups. Provide after-sales support including shipment coordination and customer service. Cultural Sensitivity & Personalization:Understand the cultural backgrounds and preferences of tourists from different countries. Communicate effectively in English (and other foreign languages, if applicable). Requirements:Experience: 3–8 years in luxury retail, handicraft sales, or hospitality (preferably working with international tourists).
