Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Tooling Engineer with 4-6 years of experience to design, develop, and implement custom material unit handling systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in building assemblies and troubleshooting issues with form, fit, and function.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, develop, and implement custom material unit handling systems, fixturing, and associated processes.
Establish standards across all operational processes and serve as a technical expert on specialized projects or programs.
Interface with internal and external customers regarding mechanical issues for specific projects.
Implement concepts for difficult product issues and solutions.
Specify, supervise the development of, design, or modify engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of complex scope.
Generate product and test specifications and define/ create requirements for material handling units.

Job Requirements

Sound knowledge of material selection, machining, fabrication process, sheet metal, and post-processing operations.
Proficient in different manufacturing methodologies and hands-on experience in building assemblies.
Thorough knowledge of GD&T and understanding of tolerance stack-up analysis.
Competency in UG NX or Pro-E/Creo is required.
Good presentation and negotiation skills.
Experience in using ISO & ASME Std., with DIN Std. being an added advantage.
