Role & responsibilities

Proficiency in Creo Software

Hands-on experience in
Creo Parametric
for 3D modeling and concept design.
Ability to create
detailed 2D drawings
with
GD&T
(Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) knowledge.

Tool & Fixture Design Expertise

Design of
assembly tools, tackles, and fixtures
for manufacturing processes.
Strong understanding of
manufacturing methods
like machining, welding, hardening, and heat treatment.

Material Selection

Ability to select appropriate materials for tools, fixtures, and tackles based on strength, durability, and cost.

Concept Development & Modeling

Capability to develop
3D concepts
for fixtures and convert them into manufacturable designs.
Knowledge of
design validation
and optimization techniques.

GD&T and Standards Compliance

Familiarity with for GD&T.
Understanding of
Model-Based Definition (MBD)
practices.

Additional Technical Skills

Tolerance Analysis
and stack-up calculations.
Error-proofing techniques
(Poka-Yoke) and FMEA awareness.
Reverse Engineering
and adaptation of existing designs.
