What awaits you/ Job Profile

Become a key contributor in our CAD Unit at BMWTechWorks India, driving the 3D tolerance analysis for gearbox e-drive developments. You will be responsible for setting up, managing, and validating complex 3D functional dimension chain (FMK) models using CATIA V5 and the commercial 3DCS software. Your work ensures that gearbox designs meet strict functional and manufacturing requirements through detailed variation and sensitivity analyses.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimize the 3DCS models within the Prisma structure, supporting critical development milestones and guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of the CAD models in 3D space.

Must have technical skill

• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with 3DCS software for 3D tolerance analysis and chain modeling
• Proficiency in CATIA V5, especially in creating and managing CAD structures for 3DCS integration
• Experience in setting up, managing, and validating 3DCS models within Prisma structure
• Strong skills in performing variation and sensitivity analyses with 3DCS

Good to have Technical skills

• Understanding of geometric tolerances and functional dimension chains in complex assemblies
• Familiarity with automotive development processes and release milestones
• Knowledge of statistical tolerance analysis and process capability concepts
