Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a US Underwriter Mortgage Team Lead, located in New Delhi. The Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the underwriting of mortgage applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and guidelines. Daily tasks include reviewing mortgage applications, assessing borrower qualifications, and making informed loan approval decisions. The role involves coordinating with team members, providing guidance, and conducting training sessions to maintain high standards of performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Mortgage Industry and Mortgages
• Proficiency in Mortgage Underwriting and Underwriting
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Experience in using underwriting software and tools is a plus
