As a Laptop Technician/Engineer at Futopia Global Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and ensuring the quality of a wide range of laptops, with a focus on bringing pre-owned devices to optimal working condition. Your role will be crucial in delivering high-quality refurbished laptops and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in laptops, including component-level repairs. - Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components such as motherboards, screens, keyboards, batteries, RAM, and storage devices. - Thoroughly inspect and test incoming refurbished laptops to identify defects or functionality issues. - Implement and oversee the refurbishment process, including cleaning, cosmetic repairs, hardware upgrades, and software installation. - Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and software applications. - Perform data wiping and secure data destruction on refurbished devices. - Conduct quality control checks on repaired and refurbished laptops to meet performance standards. - Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and testing procedures. - Stay updated with the latest laptop technologies and repair techniques. - Collaborate with team members to optimize repair and refurbishment processes. - Potentially assist with spare parts and refurbished units inventory management. - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications: - Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Laptop Technician, specializing in repairing and refurbishing laptops. - Strong understanding of laptop hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and software applications. - Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults. - Hands-on experience with component-level repairs, including soldering and board-level diagnostics (preferred). - Familiarity with data wiping and secure data destruction methods. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong quality control skills.
