A Thumbnail Designer will play a critical role in designing eye-catching and engaging thumbnails that increase click-through rates and attract viewers to our content. Your designs will help shape the visual identity of our videos across multiple platforms, including YouTube.

About the Role

As a Thumbnail Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling thumbnails that improve video CTRs across our content channels. Youll work closely with the content team to iterate, test, and analyze thumbnail performance.

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like

Create thumbnails for 4 channels (approx. 1214 per week)
Track CTR and update thumbnails accordingly (3 options per long-form upload)
Work with Head of Content to brainstorm designs and iterations
Monitor performance and maintain a minimum CTR of 6%
Responsible for both thumbnail and video title strategy

Skills Required

3+ years of experience in thumbnail or visual content design
Strong portfolio of YouTube thumbnails or similar visual assets
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator; Midjourney is a bonus
Deep understanding of visual trends on YouTube
Basic copywriting and strategy experience for titles
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Time management and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable giving and receiving feedback
