Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Learning
• Deliver engaging English lessons in grammar, literature, and language skills as per CBSE guidelines.
• Use innovative teaching methodologies (role plays, debates, storytelling, multimedia) to enhance learning.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, and digital content for effective classroom delivery.
• Foster a love for reading and writing through class activities, book reviews, and literary discussions.
• Assessment & Evaluation
• Design and conduct class tests, assignments, and formative assessments.
• Prepare and evaluate question papers for examinations.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain academic records and ensure fair evaluation.
• Student Development
• Mentor students in communication skills, public speaking, and creative writing.
• Encourage participation in co-curricular activities such as debates, declamations, poetry recitations, drama, and essay competitions.
• Provide remedial support to students needing additional help in English.
• Administration & Discipline
• Maintain proper lesson plans, attendance, and student records.
• Ensure classroom discipline, punctuality, and adherence to school rules.
• Assist in school duties such as invigilation, correction work, and substitution classes.
• Collaboration & Growth
• Work with coordinators and fellow educators to plan inter-disciplinary activities.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
• Support school functions, assemblies, literary fests, and annual events.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in English with B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
• Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience in Grades VI–X.
• Strong command over English grammar, literature, and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate students and create an interactive classroom environment.
• Proficiency in ICT tools, smart boards, and online teaching platforms.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.

Working Hours

• As per school timings (08:00 AM – 04:00 PM).
• Additional hours during examinations, remedial classes, or school activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
