Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Social Science

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Social Science to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage students in active, meaningful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Science lessons for senior secondary classes as per CBSE curriculum.
• Integrate innovative teaching methods and digital tools to enhance classroom learning.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress regularly through assignments, tests, and projects.
• Maintain proper academic records and submit reports as per school policy.
• Provide academic guidance, counseling, and mentorship to students for academic excellence and career choices.
• Organize and guide students in subject-related events, debates, quizzes, and exhibitions.
• Coordinate with other faculty members to ensure smooth academic operations.
• Ensure a disciplined, inclusive, and positive learning environment in the classroom.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training programs for professional development.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Social Science (History/Political Science/Geography/Economics) with B.Ed. (as per CBSE norms).
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level in a CBSE school.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and examination patterns.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to use technology effectively for teaching and student engagement.
• Passion for education and commitment to student growth.
