Key Responsibilities:

Teaching English Language and Literature*: Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans to students in classes 6-10, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, and literature.

Assessment and Feedback*: Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

Classroom Management*: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring students stay focused and motivated.

Curriculum Development*: Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement comprehensive English language curricula.

Communication*: Effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff to ensure everyone is informed about student progress.

Essential Skills:

Strong Command of English*: Proficiency in both written and spoken English, with excellent grammar and vocabulary.

Teaching and Interpersonal Skills*: Ability to connect with students, colleagues, and parents, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Lesson Planning and Organization*: Skill in creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and maintaining records.

Adaptability and Patience*: Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs, with patience and empathy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree*: A degree in English or a related field, along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.

Teaching Certification*: Passing Certificate of Teaching Eligibility Tests like CTET or respective State TET is necessary.

Experience*: Prior teaching experience, especially at the secondary school level, is advantageous .
