Test Manager

As a Test Manager, you will lead the Test team for Automotive Customer Programs. You will be responsible for defining the overall quality approach and strategy for the program. It will be your role to represent the project towards the customer for quality topics and work with the customer on a joint testing approach. Your responsibilities will include mapping appropriate customer requirements to test cases and defining the acceptance criteria. Furthermore, you will be in charge of creating the test plan and monitoring the progress of the testing activity for the program. Reporting on the quality status to the release team and maintaining quality dashboards for the customer program will also fall under your purview. In terms of authorities, you will have control over the Test Plan, Test Strategy, Acceptance testing (both Customer and Internal), Customer testing, and will be the single point of contact for quality-related tasks. To excel in this role, you should have a testing background with a solid understanding of how to test an integrated software solution in the Automotive business. An understanding of Automotive Quality requirements is crucial, along with the ability to engage with engineers on a detailed technical level. Strong people management skills are essential, as you will be required to effectively communicate and push back on challenges. You should be adept at translating complex customer requirements into a testing approach. In addition, you should possess an open-minded attitude, challenging the status quo and continuously working towards improvements. Key skills required for this role include people management, customer relations, testing, strategy development, automotive industry knowledge, acceptance testing, customer requirement mapping, test planning, technical communication, quality assurance, and understanding of automotive quality requirements.,
