Profile- Automation Architect
Job Description- Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement the test automation strategy, framework, and best practices across multiple projects.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Selenium (Java/Python/C#/preferred language).
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure the automation framework supports cross-browser, cross-platform, and parallel execution.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement automation tools and technologies to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new automation solutions and mentor QA engineers in automation practices.
Review and optimize existing automation scripts, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
Establish and track automation metrics, ensuring high-quality product releases.
Provide technical leadership in automation design, coding standards, and code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Test Automation Architect / Lead with expertise in Selenium.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or PyTest.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, etc.).
Strong knowledge of API testing tools (RestAssured, Postman, SOAPUI).
Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave) is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud-based test platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Strong understanding of DevOps, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and shift-left testing practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and leadership abilities.

Good to Have:

Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
Experience with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to AI/ML-based automation tools.
