Role Overview: You will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating requirements and specifications of embedded software for Industrial PLCs and CoDeSys. Additionally, you will create and design test cases with various criteria, design test environments, evaluate test results, and collaborate with interdisciplinary, international, and agile teams. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and evaluate requirements and specifications of embedded software for Industrial PLCs and CoDeSys - Create and design test cases with acceptance, quality, risk, and impact criteria - Design test environments and identify the required infrastructure - Evaluate test results and support release decisions - Prepare test documentation and reports and manage cases in Codebeamer - Collaborate with interdisciplinary, international, and agile teams Qualifications Required: - Completed studies in software engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field - 5 years of professional experience in embedded software testing, ideally in Industrial PLCs and CoDeSys - Strong knowledge of software testing and good knowledge of test automation - Experience in agile teams, ideally with SAFe methodology - Hands-on knowledge of Codebeamer or a comparable ALM tool - ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, ideally Advanced Level Test Analyst is an added advantage - Excellent written and spoken English communication skills - Structured and abstract thinking as well as independence and ability to work in a team Additional Company Details: Festo is an independent family business that offers more than 20,000 employees the opportunity to take bold steps, realize their ideas, and take on responsibility.
