Tender Specialist - Power Transformer

As a Tender Specialist at Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC), you will play a vital role in developing a global value chain to optimize value for Hitachi Energy customers. Your primary responsibilities include: - Selling Transformers to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets. - Coordinating with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager to prepare offers with appropriate technical and financial aspects, including prices and trading conditions. - Managing administrative procedures in Sales and Project management processes. - Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of the full product/systems/services offering, and provide solutions. - Creating sales plans, conducting regular status reviews, and proposing recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls. - Adding value for the customer and Hitachi Energy through successful transactions, contracts, and proposals using effective sales techniques. - Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities and promoting knowhow sharing and cross-collaboration. Your background should ideally include the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with knowledge in Transformer/Power Substation. - 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Transformer Sales. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organization and time management abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Salesforce. - Demonstrated interpersonal abilities with peers, colleagues, superiors, customers, suppliers, and service providers. - Proficiency in spoken and written English language.
