The opportunity: As a Tender Specialist at Hitachi Energy's Indian Operations Center (INOPC), you will contribute to the development of a global value chain, aiming to optimize value for Hitachi Energy customers across markets. Specifically, you will support the Transformer Business for Power Transformer Factory - Kartal throughout the Tendering Process. How you'll make an impact: - Sell Transformers to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets. - Prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager, ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects are included. - Manage administrative procedures in Sales and Project management process. - Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand needs, promote understanding of offerings, and provide solutions. - Prepare sales plans and propose recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls. - Create added value for customers and Hitachi Energy, ensuring successful outcomes of transactions. - Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities, promoting knowhow sharing and cross-collaboration. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. Your Background: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with knowledge in Transformer/Power Substation. - 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Transformer Sales. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organization and time management. - Ability to handle high load capacity by setting priorities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SalesForce. - Proven interpersonal abilities with various stakeholders. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required. Maintain inspection records and statutory compliance. iii. Conduct skill training and ensure safety discipline. 6. Shutdown & Turnaround Planning i. Prepare detailed plans for annual or major shutdowns. ii. Coordinate with production, stores, purchase and vendors for smooth execution. 7. Spare Management i. Maintain adequate stock of critical spare parts for casting and rolling equipment & Utilities. ii. Standardize parts to reduce costs and lead time. 8. Budgeting & Cost Control i. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures. 9. Vendor & Contractor Coordination i. Manage AMC and other vendors visits for cranes, Compressor, etc. ii. Supervise contract labour for maintenance jobs. 10. Documentation & Reporting i. Maintain history cards, maintenance logs, failure analysis reports. ii. Report on key metrics: Downtime, MTTR, MTBF, availability, Maintenance cost per ton & other KPIs.
