You will be responsible for handling business opportunities confidently, representing the company professionally in all dealings, and managing client communications. It is essential to stay updated on developments in the refining industry, particularly in catalyst technologies and applications. Your role will involve actively identifying and pursuing new business prospects within the refining and petrochemical sectors, efficiently managing and preparing tender documentation, and conducting regular customer visits to establish strong client relationships. Data handling and reporting will be crucial to support strategic decision-making, and you will need to monitor market trends to capitalize on emerging opportunities. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies, sales campaigns, and promotional activities. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is considered an advantage. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or tendering within the refining, petrochemical, or catalyst industry. Strong knowledge of refinery operations and catalyst applications is required, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in tender documentation, proposal preparation, analytical thinking, and attention to detail are essential. The ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is necessary. Experience with CRM or ERP systems is considered a plus.
