Job Description – Tendering Executive / Manager (GeM & E-Tendering Platforms)

With our growing presence, we are actively expanding in government and institutional procurement through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and other e-tendering platforms.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to handle the whole and sole responsibility of tendering at NewTech. The candidate will manage end-to-end operations on the GeM portal as well as other tendering platforms, including product listing, compliance, documentation, bidding, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

GeM Portal Management

• Manage complete GeM operations: product catalogues, bid participation, reverse auctions, and order processing.
• Ensure all required statutory and business documents (GST, PAN, Company Registration, Brand Authorizations, Catalogues, Certificates, etc.) are updated and compliant.
• Track new tenders and ensure timely participation in relevant opportunities.

Tendering (Other Platforms)

• Identify and evaluate tenders from multiple government and institutional sources.
• Prepare technical, financial, and pre-qualification documents in line with requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams for necessary approvals, technical inputs, and certifications.
• Submit tenders within deadlines and maintain follow-up until results.

Compliance & Coordination

• Maintain an organized repository of tender documents and submissions.
• Liaise with government departments, vendors, and authorities for clarifications and compliance.
• Provide weekly and monthly tender status reports to senior management.

Market Insights & Strategy

• Track industry trends, competitor pricing, and tender outcomes.
• Suggest bidding strategies to improve win ratios and expand government business share.

Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Prior experience in GeM portal management and government tendering is essential.
• Strong knowledge of tender procedures, e-procurement platforms, and compliance requirements.
• Exposure to electrical products / building material industry preferred.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and online procurement platforms.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Tender Participation → Minimum X tenders identified and submitted per month (customize number as per business scale).
• Compliance Accuracy → 100% accuracy in documentation, timely renewal of statutory certificates, and zero rejections due to compliance lapses.
• Submission Timeliness → 100% adherence to submission deadlines.
• Bid Success Rate → Target % increase in win ratio (to be set quarterly with management).
• Cost Optimization → Ensuring competitive yet profitable bidding strategies.
• Reporting & Tracking → Weekly/monthly reports submitted to management without delays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Internship, Freelance

Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
