Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly competent and experienced Tender Executive to manage the complete bidding lifecycle for our Steel Trading division. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of winning tenders on GeM and CPPP portals and must understand the technical nuances of supplying to PSUs, Government bodies, and large private sectors.

If you do not have hands-on experience with GeM, EMDs, and Bank Guarantees, this role is not for you.

Key Responsibilities (End-to-End Tendering):

Portal Management: Independent handling of e-procurement portals (GeM, CPPP, MSTC, NTPC, BHEL) from opportunity identification to final submission.

Bid Preparation: Meticulous preparation of Technical & Commercial bids. You must be able to draft deviation statements, annexures, and cover letters without supervision.

Documentation Expert: Manage critical documents including Solvency Certificates, GST, PAN, MSE/NSIC benefits, and Past Performance records.

Manufacturer Coordination: Directly liaise with steel majors (SAIL, JSW, JSPL, RINL) to secure Manufacturer Authorization Letters (MAF) and Mill Test Certificates (MTC).

Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with tender clauses (Payment terms, Liquidated Damages, Delivery Schedules) to avoid disqualification.

Post-Tender Support: Handle clarifications, participate in reverse auctions, and assist in the processing of Performance Bank Guarantees (PBG).

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of core tendering experience (Steel, Construction, or Engineering industry experience is a massive advantage).

Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of GeM Portal (Government e-Marketplace) and DSC (Digital Signature Certificate) mapping.

Subject Matter Knowledge: Strong understanding of Government procurement policies, CVC guidelines, and MSME/Startup benefits.

Tools: Mastery of MS Excel (for costing/BOQ), Adobe Acrobat (PDF merging/signing), and Tender Wizard.

Communication: Professional capability to draft emails to Authorities and Principals.
