Job Description

A solar company sales position involves identifying prospective clients for solar energy solutions, educating them on products and benefits, performing site assessments, and creating tailored proposals and quotes to close sales. Key responsibilities include developing client relationships, providing technical knowledge, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. The role demands strong communication, negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of solar products, industry trends, and customer needs. Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Prospect for new clients and generate leads through various channels like cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Customer Education: Inform customers about the benefits of solar energy, the company's products, potential cost savings, and available incentives.
  • Sales & Proposals: Conduct site assessments to determine feasibility, prepare and present customized proposals, and provide accurate quotes.
  • Product Demonstration: Demonstrate solar panels and related equipment to potential customers.
  • Sales Closure: Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, following up on orders and addressing their requirements.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, competitive products, and technologies.
  • Sales Reporting: Track sales activities and performance, delivering reports to management as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work with installation teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
