Tele-Counsellor ( UPSC Background)

Job Summary:
The Tele-Counsellor will be responsible for engaging with prospective UPSC aspirants via phone calls to provide accurate information about our courses, guide them through the enrollment process, and ensure a positive experience. The role requires excellent communication skills, a good understanding of UPSC exam patterns, and the ability to build rapport and trust with students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to leads and inquiries to explain UPSC courses, programs, and services offered.
• Understand the specific requirements and career goals of students preparing for the UPSC examination.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information about course content, duration, fees, and enrollment processes.
• Follow up diligently with potential students to maximize conversion.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and WhatsApp inquiries in a professional manner.
• Maintain and update student databases and CRM records regularly.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls and enrollments.
• Assist in resolving queries, complaints, or issues related to counseling or admission.
• Coordinate with the Front Desk Counselors and Academic Teams for smooth onboarding of students.
• Stay updated on UPSC exam patterns, syllabus changes, and current affairs relevant to UPSC aspirants.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Good listening skills and the ability to understand students’ needs.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Basic knowledge of UPSC exam structure (Prelims, Mains, Interview).
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
• Ability to work under targets and deadlines.
• Professional, courteous, and empathetic approach towards students.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Preferred: Candidates with prior counseling or tele-counseling experience in the education sector, especially UPSC preparation institutes.

Experience:

• 1–3 years in tele-counseling, tele-calling, or sales support roles.
• Freshers with strong communication skills and good knowledge of UPSC may also apply.
