Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are hiring for a reputed German organization for their India operations. The company is into auto component / fasteners business and supplying mainly to the automotive industry.POSITION TITLE: Technical Head R&D / Product DevelopmentWORK LOCATION: GURUGRAM / DELHI NCRREPORTS TO: CEO Asia / Managing DirectorSALARY RANGE/CTC: Up to INR 30 Lacs per annumROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Initiating and drafting annual R&D plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring execution.
  • Structuring comprehensive R&D plans, including regular analysis of competition and market potential.
  • Implementing with the Directors Group a Strategic Plan for the coming years for China and Asia.
  • Annual Budget preparation.
  • Secure, develop and strengthening of the company for the defined product group for fasteners and their automation systems for the different Industries.
  • Leading of projects with the target of high closing rates, highly satisfied customers.
  • Collaboration with all relevant divisions and departments within the Organization.
  • Implement motivating team structures across the organisation with MBO (Managing by Objectives) approach.
  • HNTE (High & New Technology Enterprise) support / administration is required.
  • Establish Monthly and Quarterly reporting to the CEO Asia.
  • Focus on advanced fastener technology.
  • Other tasks assigned by superior.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • A master's degree or PhD in Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of working experience in product design and development, preferably with an engineering / manufacturing organization in automotive / auto component industry.
  • Ability to lead and manage the local team across diverse portfolios / categories. Management of product development and technical functions including: Product & Project Development, Innovation and Application Engineering.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is appreciated.
  • Strong working knowledge of product design (mechanical / engineering) is essential.
  • Direct experience working in device production or similar highly regulated environment.
  • Experience with agile development and product owner teams desired, but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Project Management & Lean Tools. Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management.
  • Advanced with MS tools including MS 365.
  • Familiarity with various manufacturing process (cold forming / turning / injection moulding, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Dynamic / proactive entrepreneur thinking, with a structured working style and strong leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English & German (German desired but not mandatory).
  • Representation of the company in seminars and congresses.
  • Strong intercultural knowledge and communication capability.
  • Prior experience with German or Chinese teams would be a plus point.
