Description

• Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, ensuring high-quality code delivery and adherence to project timelines.
• Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable, and maintainable backend systems using Python (Django/Flask).
• Evaluate project requirements, create technical designs, and prepare accurate effort estimates.
• Write efficient, testable, and reusable code in an Agile and test-driven development (TDD) environment.
• Manage production-grade software, code, and modules, ensuring stability and performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, manage source control, and ensure smooth deployments.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements for system scalability and performance.
  

Required Skills & Expertise

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Python development, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior developer role.
• Strong experience with Django and Flask frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile.
• Experience with RDBMS such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and exposure to ReactJS or Angular.
• Experience working on Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Docker; knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git workflow).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
