Job Description

As a member of the Managed platform team, you will play a big part to ensure platforms stability to provide service to our customers clients and businesses around the globe each day. As a member of Messaging MFT team you would be responsible for developing enhancing technology solutions that allows the integration of business app to move large amounts of information in a fast secure and resilient method. Should understand Cloud and infra systems. Understand support process (as per ITIL) and escalation procedures, become fully conversant with all support tools that will be used to provide effective support. Need to review application/platform changes and ensure all mandatory artefacts attached so that risks associated with change are understood and mitigation done. Need to resolve Incidents and Service requests Will need to participate in Incident management/Problem management process in person and follow escalation processes along with sending notification to clients periodically. Gain detailed knowledge of all business flows, the application architecture and the hardware configuration for supported applications. Ensure timely delivery of key data feeds within SLA s. Consistently achieve maximum availability (up time) for critical functionality. Responsible to provide 24X7 MFT application support. Verification of onboarding MFT application mailbox and configuration. Responsible for TOIL reduction and automation. Ensure production stability and compliance with latest security feature. Responsible to provide evidence to auditors. Prepare documentation and demonstrate application functionalities to downstream and upstream application team. Your skills and experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in production support and any of file transfer experience in supporting and implementing managed file transfer solutions Knowledge and experience in any the following protocols sftp, SSH, SSL. Knowledge of certificate management ssh rsa dsa etc. Proven analysis and reporting skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication Exposure to scripting languages such as python UNIX LINUX shell perl. Getting things done in large organizations - understanding of where to use processes and how to build and operate a network Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and with executive levels. Relationship management skills Experience working with virtual and global teams / Intercultural awareness Experience of Monitoring tools such as Geneos, Knowledge of SRE and DEVOPS Knowledge of automation and shell scripting Ansible, bash perl Experience in MFT tools and client Winscp, filezila bTrade, Axeway and well aware with file transfer architecture. Understand managed file architecture and complex network interface to enable connectivity. Experience in building services, adapters, and configuring property files to implement file transfer solutions. Knowledge of Cloud system architect and functionalities, ASW, GCP Azure etc. Experience in file transfer protocol - SSH/SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2, Connect Direct etc. Must be self-initiated and a team player.
