SummaryThe offshore Infrastructure Operations technical team leader is a hands-on leader responsible for the reliability, security, and performance of core infrastructure platforms:Active Directory & identity, Windows and Linux servers, enterprise storage, backup & capacity, database platforms, and cloud operations. This role drives technical operational excellence for all Eisai infrastructure services hosted on-premises and in the cloud. This role will be the focal point for escalation associated with Eisai infrastructure services and will need to directly engage with the internal Accenture Operation team and Eisai infrastructure and applications BRM and ITSOs. The candidate needs to have a strong focus in assisting the business through the support and delivery of stable infrastructure solutions and services. It is extremely important that the candidate demonstrate an intimate understanding of core infrastructure services and how these are implemented in Eisai.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Operation Management
Primary technical escalation points for infrastructure support personnel (identity, server, storage/backup, DB, cloud).Own and co-manage with other tower leads on-call rotations, workload prioritization, resourcing, and ITSM processes.Support a culture of reliability, automation, and continuous improvement across all infrastructure services.Service Ownership & OperationsEnd-to-end co-ownership of services covering availability, performance, capacity, cost, and compliance.Maintain and improve runbooks, SOPs, diagrams, and CMDB/asset accuracy; ensure change management and release practices meet Eisai and ITIL standards.Co-Lead incident management (P1/P2), root cause analysis, and problem management with a focus on MTTR reduction and prevention.Active Directory & IdentityCo-Manage Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, OU design, delegation, and tiered admin.Oversee and collaborate for Entra ID/Azure AD, federation/SSO, conditional access, privileged identity management (PIM), MFA, and SSO.Ensure the proper execution of all Eisai practices impacting infrastructure services for identity lifecycle (joiner/mover/leaver), access reviews, and IGA integrations with security/compliance standards.Windows & Linux Server AdministrationCo-Own lifecycle of Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu or equivalent):provisioning, hardening, patching, backup, and performance tuning.Standardize builds using Golden Images, templates, and configuration management (e.g., Ansible, and applicable tools).Co-Manage endpoint and server patching cadence and vulnerability remediation in partnership with Security.Storage, Backup & Capacity ManagementCo-Manage enterprise storage (SAN/NAS/virtualization), file services, tiering, and performance.Serve as management escalation for backup/restore, replication, and DR strategy and testing to meet RPO/RTO.Run capacity planning and forecasting across compute, storage, and cloud to prevent saturation and optimize cost.Database AdministrationOversee operational DBA functions for platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, RDS, HANA, etc.Ensure backup/restore, high availability (e.g., Always On/Failover Clustering/Replication), patching, and security baselines.Collaborate and partner with application teams on performance tuning, schema changes, and upgrade planning.Cloud OperationsCo-Manage operations in AWS (landing zones, governance, identity/IAM, monitoring, backups, networking).Drive Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automated pipelines for repeatable, compliant builds.Assist with the Implementation for cost controls/FinOps, tagging standards, and right-sizing for efficiency.Security, Compliance & AuditEnsure to enforce hardening baselines (CIS, STIG or equivalent), logging, access controls, and key management for all infrastructure services.Partner with Security on vulnerability management, incident response, audit readiness, and remediation (e.g., JSOX, GxP, PCI as applicable).
Additional Information:The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Operations.This position is based at our Bengaluru office.A 15 years full time education is required.
