Key Responsibilities: SAS Platform Expertise: Oversee and manage all aspects of the SAS platform, including SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Data Integration, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS Data Quality. Ensure efficient and effective use of SAS tools and technologies to meet data processing, analytics, and reporting needs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the SAS platforms capabilities, tools, and best practices to provide expert-level guidance and optimization. Technical Leadership Solution Design: Lead the design and implementation of complex SAS-based solutions for data processing, data analytics, and data governance in line with organizational requirements. Define and enforce best practices for data integration, data quality, and model development using SAS. Provide technical guidance to the team, supporting them in all aspects of SAS usage, from data extraction and transformation to analytics and reporting. Project Oversight Implementation: Serve as the primary technical lead for SAS-related projects, overseeing planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project execution. Ensure projects align with enterprise data architecture standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines. Conduct regular technical reviews to assess project health, resolve issues, and provide strategic direction. Data Engineering, Modeling Analytics: Design and manage data pipelines using SAS for extracting, transforming, and loading data to meet business intelligence and analytics needs. Oversee the development of analytical models and reports, leveraging SASs advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across SAS-based solutions by implementing robust data quality checks and controls. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and IT teams to gather requirements, define project goals, and ensure alignment of SAS solutions with business strategies. Act as the main technical liaison for SAS-related initiatives, providing expert advice on the platforms capabilities and limitations to stakeholders. Documentation Compliance: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAS processes, data flows, analytical models, and technical specifications. Ensure SAS implementations comply with data governance policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Mentoring Team Development: Mentor and train junior team members on SAS technologies, processes, and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team to maintain high performance and knowledge sharing. Requirements: Educational Qualification: MBA or Engineering degree with relevant industry experience. Preferred certifications: Relevant OEM certifications in SAS or data management. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with the SAS platform, including experience as a Technical Lead or in a similar leadership role. Proven experience with the end-to-end implementation and management of SAS solutions for data processing, analytics, and reporting. Technical Skills: In-depth expertise in SAS Platform : SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Data Integration Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Data Quality, and SAS Enterprise Miner. Strong knowledge of data engineering, data modeling, and data transformation using SAS tools. Proficiency in data management and ETL processes within the SAS ecosystem. Advanced skills in SQL and familiarity with programming languages like Python or R is a plus. Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and regulatory compliance. Experience with SAS in a banking or financial services environment is preferred. Soft Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor a technical team effectively. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and detail. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
