About the role and what you ll be doing Do you get excited by joining a team on the cutting edge of legacy modernizationIn this role, you will be working with a team of experts responsible for delivering a quality product to the client on schedule. Ensono migrates legacy applications to modern platforms, such as Java Spring and C# .NET, using automated tools. You will be taking a key role on projects, improving the core classes for the client s modernized environment, and mentoring other team members. Responsibilities: Applying Java or C# coding skills in an Eclipse or Visual Studio modernization environment Developing our core Java or C# libraries for modernized environments Setting up testing to ensure that modernized programs function correctly Analyzing problems found during testing and applying code corrections and improvements Coordinating solutions with the team while identifying and implementing process improvements to boost productivity Providing consultation and teachable moments to more junior members of the team We want all new Associates to succeed in their roles at Ensono. Required Qualifications 3+ years of coding experience in Java or C# Experience in software testing, debugging, troubleshooting Experience with Object-oriented programming in Java, C#, or similar languages Eclipse or Visual Studio Spring or .NET Relational Databases (SQL/MYSQL/ORACLE) Preferred Qualifications Problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to mentor junior colleagues on the team Undergraduate/Post Graduate degree, coding boot camp certification, or equivalent experience Familiarity with legacy languages or databases Mainframe, IDEAL, COBOL, CICS, JCL, Datacom, DB2 Shift Timings: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST JR011519 Next Job Posting Systems Engineer Social Share
