Job Description

Conduct annual SOX Information Technology (IT) control walkthroughs for application controls, logical access, change management, and IT operation controls.
Create detailed test plans covering all control attributes identified during walkthroughs, including automated control processing alternatives and detailed code reviews.
Execute test plans to evaluate the effectiveness of IT General and Automated controls supporting financial reporting.
Document and organize workpapers to clearly articulate detailed work performed for SOX IT testing.
Assess the effectiveness of internal controls to ensure proper design, implementation, and operation.
Identify risks and evaluate deficiencies, collaborating with control owners to determine remediation activities.
Prepare impactful SOX audit reports that are clear, precise, and include all important elements.
Monitor management's remediation efforts to closure, reviewing supporting evidence and retesting.
Develop collaborative relationships with business stakeholders.
