As a technician in this role, you will be responsible for setting up new equipment, software, or systems to ensure they function correctly. You will also perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair broken equipment to keep it in good working order. Additionally, you will test new installations and machinery to ensure they meet performance standards, calibrate tools and equipment as needed, and identify and solve technical problems with various systems and equipment. Operating machinery and other technical equipment safely and efficiently will be a key part of your responsibilities. Ensuring safety compliance by adhering to protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment is crucial. Documenting details of maintenance and repair work, logging materials used, and preparing detailed reports will also be part of your duties. If you are a service technician, you will interact with customers by explaining technical issues, educating them on product use, and building positive relationships.
