Job Description

Job Title: Technical Writer / Documentation Specialist (Hardware)

Duration: Full time role

Location: Pune (Hybrid)

Note: Strong experience with Hardware Documentation is MUST HAVE.

Experience: 7+ Years

Job Overview:

The role involves preparing installation documentation for physical data center hardware (servers, network, storage) for use by external service providers. The project focuses on migrating a global virtualization platform to the CLIENT.

Key Details

Project: Global Virtualization Platform Migration

Responsibilities:

Creating technical documentation in Excel for hardware installations.
Communicating with managers from network, server, storage, and database teams to gather information.
Collaborating with external service providers for documentation handover and consultations.
Reserving network configuration parameters in internal systems.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of data center hardware infrastructure: NetApp, HP x86, network architectures.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Very good knowledge of MS Office.
Knowledge of VMware and virtualization platforms is a key advantage.
