Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer at FloTorch (A Fission Labs Company), you will play a crucial role in documenting complex AI/ML products, platforms, and solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to develop high-quality technical content such as user guides, API documentation, SDK references, release notes, tutorials, and whitepapers for AI/ML products. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and data science teams to ensure the documentation is clear, concise, and user-focused. Key Responsibilities: - Develop high-quality technical content for AI/ML products, including user guides, API documentation, SDK references, release notes, tutorials, and whitepapers. - Translate complex AI/ML workflows, algorithms, and data engineering concepts into simple, user-friendly documentation for developers, data scientists, and enterprise customers. - Collaborate with product managers, AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and developers to gather insights and ensure technical accuracy. - Maintain consistent content style guides and documentation standards across all deliverables. - Participate in UX design reviews, product demos, and sprint planning to proactively identify documentation needs. - Continuously update documentation in line with product releases and customer feedback. Qualifications: - 5-12 years of professional experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-focused environment. - Proven experience documenting AI/ML platforms, data pipelines, APIs, or cloud-based solutions. - Strong ability to explain complex AI/ML concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Proficiency with documentation tools such as Markdown, AsciiDoc, Confluence, Git, DITA/XML, or similar frameworks. - Hands-on experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman). - Familiarity with programming/data technologies like Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or ML frameworks. - Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with attention to detail. - Ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum environment with distributed teams.
