Description
As a Technical Writer at Asite, you will be responsible for developing clear, concise, and user-focused documentation for the B2B SaaS platform. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams including product managers, business analysts, engineers, designers, and customer success teams to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand resources for both technical and non-technical users. This critical role aims to help customers understand and derive value from the product through various forms of documentation such as API guides, onboarding manuals, in-app help, and product release notes. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining high-quality documentation such as user guides, API docs, knowledge base articles, in-app help, and release notes. You will translate product features into intuitive content for different types of users and collaborate closely with internal teams to gather product knowledge and workflows. Additionally, you will be involved in developing content strategies for documentation portals and support sites to enhance usability and findability, ensuring consistency and logical flow in the information architecture of documentation. You will also review and edit content created by other team members to maintain a unified voice and tone, staying updated with product changes and proactively updating documentation in sync with releases while continuously improving the process. The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in SaaS solutions and possess strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts. Experience with documentation tools such as Intercom or similar, familiarity with API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI) and developer-focused content, as well as a strong understanding of SaaS products, user personas, and customer journeys are desired. You should be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent teamwork skills, and have a proactive attitude towards improving processes.
