Position: Technical Trainer

Location: Alpha College of Engineering (Thirumazhisai) & Alpha Arts & Science College (Porur)

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery

• Teach and deliver sessions on Programming Languages C, C++, Java, and Python.
• Conduct regular and weekly sessions covering core programming, problem-solving, and coding fundamentals.
• Demonstrate real-world application of programming concepts through examples, exercises, and troubleshooting scenarios.
• Guide students in technical and Tech-HR interview preparation and coding test readiness.

2. Content Development

• Develop and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, coding exercises, and project templates.
• Create assignments, assessments, and coding challenges to track and enhance student progress.
• Continuously update content and question banks based on the latest industry and campus recruitment trends.
• Ensure training programs are aligned with placement objectives and company-specific requirements.

3. Mentoring & Evaluation

• Mentor students for hackathons, coding contests, and technical projects (mini and final year).
• Assess student performance through regular tests, coding tasks, and feedback reports.
• Identify learning gaps and conduct remedial or advanced sessions as needed.
• Motivate students to build coding confidence and improve logic, accuracy, and execution speed.

4. Coordination & Events

• Collaborate with the Placement Cell to plan technical training schedules and bootcamps.
• Support and coordinate technical events, coding hackathons, and workshops.
• Participate in curriculum reviews to align training programs with industry requirements and the standards of our official training partner.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge in C, C++, Java, and Python with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of software development fundamentals and emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web, Cloud, etc.).
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor students of varying skill levels.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking ability for aptitude training.
• Prior experience in campus training, corporate training, or ed-tech teaching preferred.

Qualification

• UG/PG in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Prior experience in technical or campus training, ed-tech teaching, or corporate learning preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge in C, C++, Java, and Python, with good problem-solving skills.
• Sound understanding of software development fundamentals and awareness of emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, and digital teaching tools.
