As a Technical Helpdesk Support Engineer, your role will involve providing technical assistance for various software packages, particularly EPoS, and hardware. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying and resolving client issues by researching answers and guiding them through corrective steps - Gathering customer requirements for new software development projects - Offering telephone support to customers during out-of-hours, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis - Monitoring and maintaining the Customer Support Call Log System as per provided protocols - Configuring hardware remotely - Evaluating system performance to identify potential improvements - Collaborating with the development team to test, evaluate, and install new software - Documenting actions taken through forms, reports, logs, and records - Updating job knowledge through educational opportunities and professional networking - Ensuring confidentiality of organizational information - Providing information to the sales department based on customer inquiries - Offering general assistance as needed Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Active Listening - Speaking effectively - Troubleshooting technical issues - Complex Problem Solving - Judgment and Decision Making - Mathematics for problem-solving - Time Management - Active Learning - Instructing others - Service Orientation You should have proficiency in the following technologies: - Windows Operating Systems 7 through 11 (knowledge of Server OS is advantageous) - Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook - General knowledge of MS SQL - Experience with call logging systems Please note that the above responsibilities are not exhaustive, and you may be assigned additional tasks based on your evolving role within the organization and overall business objectives. This is a Permanent, Full-Time position located near Rahul Raj Mall in Surat with working hours from 2:30pm to 11:00pm.
