As a Technical Support Engineer in the Customer Service & Support (CSS) team, you will play a vital role in resolving customer technical issues promptly and effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality customer and partner experience (CPE) by providing timely responses and resolutions. - Collaborate with global peers, stakeholders, account managers, and product groups to efficiently resolve customer issues. - Drive career growth and professional development through individual and team readiness. - Contribute to business efficiency and effectiveness through excellence in execution. - Support Microsoft's objective of growing market share by working closely with the product team on technical design issues and product changes. - Represent Microsoft as a trusted advisor to customers and drive team/cluster level projects to enhance CPE. Qualifications Required: - 3-9 years of experience in technical support roles. - Proficiency in foundational concepts of all Office products across Windows, Mac, and iOS platforms. - Strong understanding of Operating Systems Concepts such as Active Directory, Security, and Performance. - Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, protocols, and devices. - Familiarity with Windows Architecture, .NET basic concepts, Web architecture, and IIS configuration. - Experience with tools like Netmon, Perfmon, Process Monitor, DebugDiag, and others. - Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to troubleshoot application hang issues on mobile devices. - Language Qualification: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
