Based in Chennai, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers in the region, addressing their queries and challenges, and offering tailored solutions to maximize the performance and efficiency of their automation systems.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Support: Provide technical assistance via phone, email, or on-site to customers using Renu Electronics products.Product Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of Renu Electronics product portfolio, including configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with other systems.Issue Resolution: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues effectively and promptly to minimize downtime for customers.Training & Workshops: Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers to enhance their knowledge of products and their applications.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of support activities, including customer issues, resolutions, and follow-ups.Feedback & Reporting: Communicate customer feedback and recurring issues to the R&D or product development teams for continuous improvement.Field Visits: Perform on-site visits to provide hands-on technical support or to assist in product installations and demonstrations when required.Collaboration: Work closely with sales and application teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.Required Skills and QualificationsEducation: Bachelor s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering disciplines.Experience: 1-3 years of experience in technical support, preferably in the industrial automation sector.Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet).Hands-on experience with programming and configuring automation devices.Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil (additional regional languages are a plus).Customer Orientation: Ability to empathize with customers and provide proactive solutions.Tools: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to industrial automation products.Personal AttributesHands On, Highly motivated and results-oriented.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Willingness to travel within the Chennai region and surrounding areas as required.Adaptability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Comprehensive training on Renu Electronics product range.Opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.Technical Support Engineer and contribute to revolutionizing the way industries operate.
