Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide both on-site and remote technical support for our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling system installations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring operating systems, and maintaining peripheral devices. The role also includes hands-on field work such as CCTV and biometric device installation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and essential applications.
  • Perform CCTV camera installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Install and maintain biometric attendance systems, ensuring smooth operation.
  • Handle system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.
  • Set up and configure printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
  • Respond promptly to user support requests and provide effective resolutions.
  • Maintain documentation for service requests, issue resolutions, and asset management.
  • Conduct routine system health checks and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
  • Travel to client locations for installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting when required.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or similar IT support role.
  • Strong hands-on experience in hardware installation, troubleshooting, and configuration.
  • Good knowledge of Windows/Linux OS setup and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with CCTV and biometric system installation is mandatory.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP configuration).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer-handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage field service tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel for client-site support.

Job Types: Full-time, Volunteer

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
