What You’ll Achieve:

As a BIOS engineer you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment.

• Lead next generation BIOS architecture design, ensuring it is modular, portable, resilient, and secure
• Lead BIOS development as an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test and delivery
• Mentor team members in design collaboration, code reviews, development tools and processes

• 15-25 years of relevant experience in the architecture, design and development of BIOS/UEFI/PC Firmware with a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
• Knowledge or relevant deployment experience of the PC ecosystem with a focus on silicon initialization, memory initialization, storage, security, in-band/out-of-band manageability in BIOS
• Experience with multiple programming languages; operating systems; device drivers; databases; system, network; embedded software/firmware; tools and utilities
• Ability to code/debug and guide others to code/debug flexible, scalable and complex programs, using either written or verbal design specifications
• Experience with the security development life cycle, including technical understanding of common security vulnerabilities and risks, and countermeasures
• Fluent in utilization of source code analysis tools such as Fortify, Coverity, Clang, and AI assistant tools for development.
