Job Description: As an Applications Managed Services Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch managed services to clients. Your main responsibilities will include proactively identifying and resolving incidents related to packaged application technologies like ErP and middleware to ensure the seamless operation of business-critical applications. You will be the go-to expert for complex technical challenges and use your deep technical expertise to deliver exceptional client outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Configure, install, test, and ensure the full operation of assigned technologies within a client's environment. - Conduct necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, and respond to alerts promptly. - Investigate, analyze, and log incidents in detail, escalating to third-party vendors when necessary. - Conduct monthly reviews of incidents and service requests to enhance service quality. - Provide onsite technical support and field engineering services when required, aiming for process optimization and automation opportunities. - Manage and implement projects within the technology domain, meeting client requirements and timelines efficiently. - Execute disaster recovery functions and tests to ensure the protection of clients" data and systems. Qualifications Required: - Extensive experience in an engineering role within a medium to large ICT organization. - In-depth knowledge of managed services and ITIL processes. - Exceptional planning skills to efficiently manage activities and projects considering changing circumstances. - Strong communication skills to collaborate across different cultures and social groups. - Active listening skills and adaptability to changing circumstances. - Client-first attitude, ensuring positive client experiences throughout. - Positive outlook, ability to work well under pressure, and commitment to hard work. - Flexibility to work longer hours when necessary. - Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
