Job Description

Role Overview: At Orica, you will be joining the Digital Solutions Team as a Digital Solutions Engineer. Your primary responsibility will be to understand and implement Orica's digital products, support project implementations, create project analysis reports, support the customer reporting process, and maintain clear communication with customers. Your goal will be to ensure the delivery of measurable value to customers and sustainable revenue for Orica. Key Responsibilities: - Work with Orica Digital Solutions Blast Design and Execution (BD&E) suite of products and services - Assist in all site implementations of BD&E projects and actively participate in the Customer Success Program - Adhere to and promote site safety - Analyze blast measurements and assess performance against a baseline - Develop case studies, papers, or research - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build Product/Service offering models and establish implementation workflows - Take up product application stewardship - Collaborate with IT Teams (internal and customers) for technology integrations - Interact directly with customers across various departments to understand their unique challenges and articulate how Orica's solutions address those challenges - Train and accredit customers and other Orica personnel in BD&E Technologies and Products - Ensure timely management of support tickets, escalations, and issues in accordance with SLA Qualifications Required: - Demonstrated experience working with automation/controls/digital technologies in a large industrial environment - Minimum 2 years of Mining Industry experience with knowledge in areas such as continuous improvement, Drill & Blast, Operations, Technical Services, etc. - Interest in and understanding of mining digital technology processes - Project management experience - Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI) and the ability to learn other tools utilized in this role - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and social skills - Experience in stakeholder issue resolution and escalation management - Prior experience conducting technical workshops and discussing the implementation of various technologies and business value Additional Company Details: Orica is a global company that values inclusion and Equal Opportunity Employment.
