The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing technical services, new product development, and ensuring the delivery of high-precision components. The incumbent will play a crucial role in driving innovation, improving product quality, and enhancing customer satisfaction, particularly within the automotive and engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Product Development:

• Lead and manage the new product development process from concept to commercialization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, production, and marketing to develop innovative and high-precision components.
• Ensure that new products meet customer requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.

2. Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

3. Project Management:

• Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure clear communication and successful project execution.

4. Customer Engagement:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the automotive and engineering sectors.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and provide technical support during the sales process.

5. Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing technical services team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

6. Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement robust quality control processes and address any quality issues promptly.

7. Reporting and Analytics:

• Prepare and present reports on technical services activities, project progress, and key performance indicators.
• Use data analytics to drive decision-making and improve technical services processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering in Polymer/Plastics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in technical services, new product development, or process engineering roles.
• At least 5 years in a leadership position into Injection Moulding and Mould manufacturing experience. Must understand Scientific Moulding.
• Extensive experience in the automotive, high-precision components, or engineering sectors.
• Proven track record in new product development and project management.
• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in using CAD software, project management tools, and other relevant technologies.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory requirements in the automotive and engineering industries.
