Technical Scrum Master, Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, while coaching teams on Agile best practices to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to define sprint goals, prioritize backlog items and ensure smooth execution of development activities within Agile frameworks.
• Act as a bridge between business and development teams, resolving technical and operational blockers to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Track Agile metrics such as velocity, cycle time and burndown rates, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvements in team performance.
• Work closely with software engineers, architects and DevOps teams to refine user stories, ensure technical feasibility and optimize development workflows.
• Lead Agile maturity initiatives within the organization, driving adoption of Agile methodologies across teams and improving Agile execution frameworks.
• Foster strong relationships with QA, DevOps and UX teams to ensure seamless integration of testing, deployment and user experience improvements within Agile cycles.
• Guide junior Scrum Masters and development team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth within Agile teams.
• Support key digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving innovation through Agile methodologies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years of experience in Agile project management, Scrum Master roles, or technical leadership in software development.
• Bachelors degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and best practices.
• Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or SAFe certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or other Agile project management tools.
