Job Description

Company Overview:

We are an innovative tech startup seeking a dynamic Technical Sales and Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for combining your technical knowledge with sales skills to offer advice and support on a range of products, and for devising and implementing marketing strategies to promote these products.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:


Technical Sales:

  1. Identify potential clients and build strategic relationships through networking, cold calling, and lead generation.
  2. Present and explain technical products or services to customers and prospective customers in clear, compelling terms.
  3. Provide technical advice and support to customers, delivering exceptional customer service to increase customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  4. Collaborate with the product development team to understand product details and functionalities, and communicate customer feedback to inform product improvements.
  5. Maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s products and keep abreast of new and emerging technologies in the market.


Marketing:

  1. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote technical products.
  2. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand customer needs and trends in the technology sector.
  3. Measure and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns, gaining insights and assessing against goals.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to create promotional materials and ensure brand consistency.
  5. Coordinate and participate in industry-specific trade shows, webinars, and other events to promote the company's products.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Mathematics/Statistics, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in technical sales and/or marketing.
  3. Solid understanding of technical products and the ability to explain and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  5. Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach.
