Technical Recruiter

Role & responsibilities

• 4+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruitment, preferably in IT contract staffing.
• Strong understanding of IT roles and technologies (e.g., project management, business analysis, network engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, DevOps).
• Experience recruiting candidates in Canada, for Canadian clients OR in US for US clients.
• Familiarity with Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, and resume databases.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience supporting Canadian or US-based staffing firms.
• Experience and understanding of Canadian and provincial employment law and human rights legislation.
• Knowledge of Canadian work authorization types (e.g., Open Work Permit, PR, etc.).
• Exposure to ATS platforms like Bullhorn, JobDiva, or similar.

Additional Information: This role will require appropriate overlap with working hours in Canada to ensure there is continuous collaboration with Canada resourcing teams and the identified candidates.
